Spider-Noir Canceled After Just One Season
Prime Video has officially canceled Spider-Noir, ending Nicolas Cage’s live-action run as the alternate-universe Spider-Man after only eigly surprising because the series wasn’t exactly ignored.
Spider-Noir earned 11 Emmy nominations, making it Prime Video’s most-nominated series of the year, while also receiving strong reviews from critics and audiences.
The series also accumulated billions of streaming minutes during its opening weeks.
That raises an obvious question:
Why cancel it?
Sony and Amazon’s partnership still gives them access to hundreds of Marvel characters connected to the Spider-Man universe, and another television project is already expected to follow.
But after previous plans for Silk: Spider Society collapsed and now Spider-Noir has ended after one season, the future of Sony’s Spider-Man television universe remains interesting to watch.

Bruce Campbell Shares a Personal Cancer Update
Bruce Campbell has given fans another candid update on his cancer diagnosis.
The legendary Evil Dead actor revealed that doctors currently give him an approximately five-year prognosis.
Campbell has chosen not to publicly identify his specific type of cancer, but he previously described the disease as treatable rather than curable.
More important than the number itself is Campbell’s attitude toward it.
Rather than allowing his diagnosis to consume the time he has, Campbell says he has made the conscious decision to live with cancer rather than live as though he is already dying.
He remains focused on his new movie Ernie & Emma, a deeply personal project that he wrote, directed, produced, and stars in.

X-Men’s New Rogue Takes On The Waffle House Index
Inde Navarrette’s career continues expanding.
After landing the role of Rogue in Marvel Studios’ upcoming X-Men movie, Navarrette is also attached to star in and executive produce Apple Original Films’ The Waffle House Index.
And the premise is difficult to describe without sounding like somebody made it up during a late-night brainstorming session.
A Waffle House waitress encounters an armed stranger during her night shift.
Then comes a massive flood.
Killer crocodiles.
A nuclear explosion.
A mysterious underground bunker.
And aliens.
The title comes from the real-world “Waffle House Index,” an informal method of assessing how severely an area has been affected by a natural disaster based on whether local Waffle House restaurants remain fully operational, have limited menus, or are forced to close.
It could end up being one of the strangest sci-fi thrillers in development—and we’re interested.
Is Adria Arjona the New Wonder Woman?
One of DC Studios’ most persistent casting mysteries continues.
Adria Arjona has been training extensively for her role in James Gunn’s Superman: Man of Tomorrow, but the identity of her character remains officially undisclosed.
Arjona has discussed a demanding routine involving cardio, hours of weight training, boxing, stunt preparation, and a specialized diet.
Naturally, DC fans have connected that physical transformation with one particular character:
Wonder Woman.
The speculation is strong, but it remains exactly that—speculation.
DC Studios has not officially announced Arjona as Diana Prince.
That doesn’t mean fans are going to stop trying to solve the mystery.
